The National Youth Service is working with Cricket SA to offer 6-month paid internships that support community-based sporting events. If you are aged 18 to 35 this could be for you!

If you are a keen fan of sport and want to work in your community, then this National Youth Service programme could be perfect for you.

The National Youth Service (NYS) are working with Cricket South Africa to run an exciting 6-month internships programme with that will allow you to: 

  • Get involved in community service and sport-based activities (minimum of 16 hours/week)
  • Build teamwork, leadership, and life skills
  • Earn a monthly stipend
  • Grow your employability and network in the sports and community development space

Who Is Eligble to Apply?

• South African citizens aged 18–35
• Must live near Cricket SA’s implementing sites
• Must be unemployed (not in education, employment, or training)
• Must NOT have participated in previous NYS phases
