Mintek Internship Programme 2025
Mintek, South Africa’s national mineral research organisation, is offering a valuable internship opportunity for graduates seeking hands-on work experience. Based at Mintek’s Randburg offices, this programme is designed to provide practical exposure within its technical divisions, helping interns kick-start their careers in engineering and research.
Programme Reference: INTERN/2025/008
Purpose of the Internship
The internship aims to equip graduates with real-world experience and technical knowledge that will prepare them for future roles in the minerals and metallurgical sectors.
Minimum Requirements
- South African citizen
- Excellent academic record with a minimum 60% average
- Completed a relevant NQF Level 7 Degree in one of the following fields:
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical ability
- Attention to detail
Additional Information
- Salary: From R141,240 CTC per annum (non-negotiable)
- Applicants must arrange their own accommodation and transport to Mintek.
- Willingness to undergo psychometric testing is required.
