LearnEx is a South African corporate training company specialising in using things like Learnerships to help companies get qualified staff.

There are never enough Learnerships being run to meet the need of people wanting to go on them. So LearnEx helps young people by encouraging more companies to run Learnerships.

Learnerships are a great option for young people as you will receive formal training but you don't have to pay anything for the course. In fact, they will pay you a stipend (small amount each month) to help you cover your costs.

Learnerships Offered by LearnEx

LearnEx provides several Learnership programmes across different fields, combining structured theoretical learning with practical workplace experience. Some of their offerings include:

ICT Stream: Technical Support NQF Level 4

Objective: To build foundational knowledge in Computer Sciences and Information Technology, with specialization options in hardware and infrastructure support or data communications and networking.

Office Administration Stream: Business Administration NQF Level 3

Objective: To equip learners with skills in team management, reception management, events coordination, business numeracy, office management, and business communication.

Benefits of Participating in a Learnership:

Engaging in a Learnership programme offers numerous advantages for learners, including:

Practical Experience: Learners gain hands-on experience in a real work environment, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
Enhanced Employment Opportunities: Completing a Learnership improves employability by providing industry-relevant skills and a recognized qualification.
Financial Support: Participants often receive a stipend to cover basic expenses during the Learnership, making it financially accessible.     Mentorship and Guidance: Learners benefit from mentorship by experienced professionals, aiding personal and professional development.     Nationally Recognized Qualification: Successful completion leads to a qualification registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF), enhancing credibility in the job market.
Career Exploration: Learnerships allow individuals to experience a chosen career path firsthand, helping them make informed decisions about their professional futures.
Networking Opportunities: Participants can build valuable connections within their chosen industry, which may lead to future employment opportunities.

HOW TO APPLY

Learnerships don't have a specific start date the way that college or university courses do. Because a company has to provide an employment contract before the Learnership starts the whole thing depends on the company. The Learnership programme will have to fit in with the company's requirements.

So the thing to do is to register now with Learnex. They will keep your details on file and as soon as a suitable Learnership is available they will contact you and let you know.
