The Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa (FMCSA) is inviting applications for its highly successful Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Programme. This six-month internship offers ambitious and self-motivated trainees the chance to gain invaluable hands-on experience and industry-specific training at one of the world’s leading automotive manufacturers.
About the Programme
The WIL internship is designed for students who have completed their academic modules (S1–S5) and need practical workplace exposure to complete their qualification. Successful candidates will follow a structured training programme while working alongside experienced professionals, preparing them for a future career in engineering and manufacturing.
Position: Experiential Trainee – Work Integrated Learning (6 months fixed-term agreement)

Responsibilities
- Follow and complete an approved training programme as outlined by your university logbook
- Complete the FMCSA prescribed training schedule to achieve competence
- Participate in rotating shifts as required to meet training outcomes
Qualifications Required
- Completed S1–S5 modules with a minimum pass rate of 65%
- Applicants must provide a full academic record
